In the Sector for Work and Individual Services, individual and family care, labor market, functional support, integration, and adult education are organized. Description We are seeking support assistants for two service housing facilities, and the positions involve work at both facilities. As a support assistant, you provide support to people who have one or more functional disabilities. You provide educational and practical support to help the individual live as independently and securely as possible. You should be able to work independently, take responsibility, and make decisions on your own while following the organization's structure and work methods. As a person, you should be calm, flexible, and solution-oriented. You should be good at collaborating and enjoy contributing to the bigger picture. Work Tasks Together with your colleagues and other stakeholders, you will collaborate for the individual's benefit and find solutions that develop the work. Your work tasks will partly involve providing support and care services according to the current implementation plan. Common work tasks include: Daily Support - helping with cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc. Structure and Routine - creating security by planning the day Communication - using methods to facilitate interaction and understanding Documentation - keeping journal notes and following up on how the support works Delegated Tasks - medication handling Qualifications Education from a care and nursing program, treatment assistant, pedagogical approach, or other education deemed equivalent. You should have experience working in the autism field. You must be at least 18 years old, have a manual B driver's license, and be able to work at all times of the day.
