On October 1st, Ametisten's group homes will become part of Nacka Municipality, and we are now looking for more engaged employees who want to make a difference in our clients' daily lives. Your Assignment Ametisten's group homes consist of two detached villas in Orminge with a total of ten apartments. The operations are conducted in accordance with LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions who need individually adapted support in their daily lives live here. As a support assistant, you provide support based on clients' individual needs and circumstances. You work to create a secure everyday life where each individual has the opportunity to live as independently as possible based on their own conditions. The work includes, among other things: - personal care - medication management - social activities - digital documentation - contact with family members and other important parties. Many of our clients have a great need for structure, clarity, and predictability. Therefore, you need to have a pedagogical approach and feel confident in meeting and handling challenging behaviors in a professional and low-arousal manner. Are You the One? You remain composed even in pressured situations and have the ability to create security and structure for people who need extensive support in their daily lives. At the same time, you are clear, consistent, and professional in your interactions. You collaborate well with others, contribute to a good work climate, and enjoy sharing knowledge and experiences. Your Experience To be eligible for this position, it is a requirement that you have: - education as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or other education that the employer considers equivalent - experience working within LSS - experience handling challenging or disruptive behaviors and familiarity with low-arousal approaches - experience in personal care and medication management - computer and documentation skills, including work with implementation plans - good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
