About Unika Unika Perennvägen is a facility located in Ekängen that opens in November and will be operated as a contracted service on behalf of Linköping Municipality. Here, a modern and secure home will be created for six people within LSS service category 1 – with a focus on quality of life, participation, and a meaningful daily life. The rural location provides easy access for walks, excursions, and relaxation. There are good public transportation connections. At Perennvägen, we work with clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches in an environment characterized by structure, safety, and respect. Now we are looking for support assistants who want to be part of building the operation from the ground up, developing work methods, creating routines, and shaping a safe and high-quality daily life for our residents. About the Role As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal support plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we base our work on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to create safety and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-oriented, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience working in healthcare and care services. Upper secondary education such as a child and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field. Driver's license. Meritorious if you also have: Experience with epilepsy, people with somatic and medical needs, AAC, and low-arousal approaches. Experience with moving techniques (lifting). Experience working with complex support needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Terms Employment type: Permanent positions with 6-month probation Work hours: Varying full-time and part-time Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, on-call sleep-in, and night shifts Start date: By agreement Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
