We are now seeking several support assistants to join our team, working together to provide our service users with a safe home environment and a meaningful life. Your Work Tasks In your work, you will guide and support people with physical, mental, and intellectual disabilities in their daily lives. You will work to help the individual participate in a functioning everyday life and have meaningful leisure time and/or activities. The work includes hygiene and care tasks, heavy lifting and transfers, as well as common household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. Your work will require excellent attention to detail. You will support service users in various activities such as exercise, swimming, cinema visits, and playing games. In your role, you will daily plan, implement, document, follow up, and evaluate interventions both independently and in collaboration with others. This places high demands on your administrative skills and your ability to plan and organize work. You also need to feel comfortable working with computers, as it is a natural part of the work tasks. You are also expected to be involved in creating and establishing structure and routines in the operations and then actively work to prevent the risk of challenging behavior, while remaining flexible, thinking on your feet, and handling unexpected situations. Work hours are scheduled for day/evening shifts and every other weekend. Coordination meetings with other operations occur. - Heavy lifting occurs; transfer aids must be used. - A cat occasionally visits the workplace, so you should not have allergies. About You You have a strong ability to collaborate, and it is of utmost importance that you have a professional approach toward service users and other people in our users' networks. You are pedagogical, engaged, and willing to share our values and work toward established goals as well as work with continuous improvements. You are driven by a desire to see development and change and work accordingly. Your work style is characterized by flexibility, consistency, and security. You should have great patience and be able to work toward long-term goals without losing focus. In order to communicate with service users and their networks, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You need to be able to communicate clearly and directly with service users while standing firm on decisions that have been made. Sometimes the pace can be high, so it is important that you can remain calm, manage stress well, and think quickly when needed. In this position, it is of utmost importance that you are solution-oriented and do not get stuck in situations. You should also have a positive view of challenges and enjoy working with them. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements: Care and health program, children and leisure program, social worker program, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer Experience working in care and health services, such as in LSS housing or social psychiatry Meritorious: Experience in pedagogical work Experience working with people with autism Experience working with people with self-harming behavior Experience with low-intensity support when managing challenging behavior Other Two permanent positions, full-time, starting as soon as possible by agreement. Two temporary positions, full-time, starting as soon as possible until January 31, 2026.
