About the Role
About the work – help us build something new together
Individkraft is opening a new group home according to LSS for target group 2 this fall. We are now seeking engaged and secure employees for night shifts who want to be part of it from the start and contribute to shaping an operation where quality, respect, and meaningful human encounters are central.
The work involves providing support and care to adults with acquired brain injuries in adulthood who need care, structure, continuity, and long-term, relationship-based support. The focus is on creating security in daily life and creating conditions for increased independence, participation, and quality of life.
The role includes, among other things:
Supporting and helping residents practically with daily routines, structure, and planning
Building relationships and creating a sense of security in daily work
Providing motivating and practical support based on individual needs
Collaborating with family members, healthcare, and other community actors
Documenting in accordance with applicable legislation and organizational procedures
Working with a low-arousal and solution-focused approach
Since the operation is new, there is a unique opportunity to influence work methods, routines, and culture, and to help build a stable and sustainable operation from the ground up.
About You
We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant or has other education in care and health services that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working with people with dementia and elderly care is highly meritorious. We value it if you have pedagogical training or education in communication, such as TAKK.
As a support assistant, you provide close and individually adapted support to people with acquired brain injuries. The work tasks include, among other things, personal hygiene, meal support, and feeding. It is therefore important that you can perform these care tasks with attentiveness, professionalism, and great respect for the individual's integrity, self-determination, and individual circumstances.
An important part of the work is documenting in accordance with applicable legislation and organizational procedures. You therefore need to master Swedish well, both spoken and written.
We are looking for someone who is confident working independently while also seeing the value of close collaboration with colleagues. You are flexible and can adapt your work approach based on the residents' needs and preferences. As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and solution-focused. You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner, have a good ability to prioritize, and enjoy working in an operation where no two days are the same.
To succeed in the role, you need to have a genuine interest in people and the ability to create secure and respectful relationships. You are attentive, empathetic, and meet each individual based on their circumstances. When the situation requires it, you work with a low-arousal approach.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
