The Recruitment and Staffing Unit is currently seeking three committed support assistants for the resource pool within the Disability Sector. We need to expand our pool and are therefore looking for you who want to take the opportunity to develop your professional role and, through your commitment, secure a highly varied job. We are offering three full-time positions and with a full-time employment you receive 14 days off during a six-week period. Trial employment may be applied and start date will be agreed upon. Your New Job As a support assistant with us, you will get a stimulating work environment where you have great opportunities to develop in your professional role. The assignment involves staffing various types of activities within the Disability Sector located throughout Östersund municipality. The target group spans all ages from children to seniors, which makes the work both varied and meaningful. We place great emphasis on your onboarding. The resource pool's task is to staff both acute and planned absences up to 14 days and act as a resource to create excellence for citizens or to increase the quality of activities. Work follows a flexible schedule with shifts at various times around the clock. To thrive in this role, you need to feel comfortable working independently and be prepared to work both on-call and night shifts. You are available for work every third weekend, from Friday to Sunday, and the schedule is planned during the year every sixth week (longer periods may be planned during summer and Christmas), in close collaboration with your work team. As a support assistant in the resource pool, you work in a competent team that you meet every sixth week at the unit's workplace meeting (APT), where we also have regular collegial supervision. In your work, you provide support to citizens based on individual needs and conditions, according to the planning the activity has for the day. You perform your work within various activities and you may be at several different workplaces within the municipality during a week. You help citizens manage their daily lives, perform care and support them in all the challenges that may arise, both inside and outside the home. You participate in activities and collaborate with everyone you meet in your work. Your assignment is to create good conditions through guidance and support and care for as independent and secure a life as possible for the citizens. You work closely with your manager, who is available to support you in your assignment and coordinates with coordinators in daily planning. The unit has a district nurse attached to it who supports you in the responsibility you have with delegated work tasks under the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). You may have various types of delegations that the activity requires, for example insulin, tracheostomy and feeding tubes. You also need to be able to travel to and work at workplaces throughout the municipality and be interested in working with all age categories, from children to our seniors. Handle delegated work tasks under HSL, for example insulin, tracheostomy and feeding tubes. Your Competence Requirements Trained nursing assistant, support assistant or equivalent care or pedagogical education that the employer finds appropriate. Class B driver's license and access to a car. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speaking, writing and reading comprehension. Meritorious Experience in care and support work at night. Experience with similar work tasks. Experience with the documentation system Viva. Good knowledge of care. Experience working with people who have various types of functional variations.
