Fabriksgatan Group Home We are now seeking new colleagues to join our work team at Fabriksgatan. Your responsibilities We work from a motivating approach where we focus on maintaining and improving each individual's own abilities. The work is characterized by a social perspective where the individual's needs are at the center. In our work we support the individuals with everything in their daily lives, for example personal hygiene, activities, household chores, all based on each individual's needs. Since we work with social documentation, it is important that you can express yourself both in writing and verbally in the Swedish language. We can offer a varied profession where no two days are the same. What is constantly recurring is the energy and joy that our residents give us daily in our work. Working hours vary between day and evening shifts as well as weekends. We give you the opportunity to choose the level of employment you wish to work. In this position you may also, when needed, work certain shifts at other workplaces within the unit. This may mean you work at multiple locations. Your qualifications We are looking for you with relevant education to work with people with disabilities and people with acquired brain injuries. We want you to have previous work experience in the field. The position requires that you have good self-awareness and are confident in yourself. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills and empathic ability. It is also important that you can work independently and that you are flexible in your work approach. We want you to have a genuine interest in people and the ability to see solutions and opportunities. The position requires that you have basic IT skills and can work with the systems we use for documentation and similar. A driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement. Other information In order to be considered for employment in Västervik Municipality, you must provide an extract from the Police Criminal Records Register. Work in the home with the elderly and people with disabilities | The Police Authority. Please note that processing time can be up to 2 weeks.
