Your Work Tasks We work based on a motivating approach where we focus on maintaining and improving each individual's own abilities. The work is characterized by a social perspective where the individual's needs are at the center. In our work, we support the individual persons with everything in their daily life, for example personal hygiene, activities, household chores, all based on each individual's needs. Since we work with social documentation, it is important that you can express yourself both in writing and verbally in the Swedish language. Your Competence We are looking for you with relevant education to work with people with disabilities. We want you to have previous work experience in the field, and if you have experience working with people with autism diagnoses, this is a merit. The position requires that you have good self-awareness and are confident in yourself. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills and empathic ability. It is also important that you can work independently and that you are flexible in your working approach. We want you to have a genuine interest in people and the ability to see solutions and opportunities. Other Information To be eligible for current employment in Västervik Municipality, a certificate from the Police Disclosure Register must be presented. Work in the home with the elderly and people with disabilities | Swedish Police Authority Please note that processing time can be up to 2 weeks.
