The Care and Social Services Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, and is responsible for the exercise of authority in accordance with applicable legislation. The administration conducts activities within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health care, family support, and the exercise of authority. All work is performed with the resident in focus, based on our values: respect, participation, trust, and security. JOB DUTIES
Support Assistant at Group Home LSS Södergatan 18 A, Märsta
We are now looking for a support assistant at our group home within LSS at Södergatan 18 A in Märsta. The residence is centrally located with proximity to the commuter train station.
As a support assistant, you work closely with our users in their daily lives based on decided services according to LSS. The work is based on the user's request, implementation plan, and individual needs with the goal of creating participation, independence, and a meaningful life.
The role includes providing support, guidance, and motivation in daily life. Work tasks include care work, social support, and practical household tasks such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and recreational activities. You work together with the users and support them to participate based on their abilities and goals.
Medication management is part of the work according to applicable procedures and delegation from licensed healthcare personnel. You are responsible for handing over medications safely and documenting according to the operation's guidelines.
Our users depend on structure, clarity, and predictability in their daily lives. We work with visual supports, AAC, and other pedagogical methods to create security and promote independence. Contact person responsibilities are included in the position, as is the responsibility for establishing, following up, and actively working according to implementation plans.
The operation has access to support pedagogues, social pedagogues, and development leaders with pedagogical responsibility who provide guidance, methodological support, and competence development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We consider it a merit if you have good knowledge of LSS legislation and previous experience working in a group home or other services for people with disabilities.

• MI (Motivational Interviewing)
• ESL (An Independent Life)

You need to have good computer skills and experience with documentation systems, such as LifeCare. You should be able to express yourself well in speech and writing and understand the importance of legally sound documentation.
Personal Qualities
As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and have a respectful approach. You can work independently while contributing to good cooperation in the work team. You have a pedagogical and motivating approach and a strong desire to support people in their daily lives.

Duration: 3-6 months, ending: 2026-12-30.
