JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a support assistant, you work closely with service users in their daily lives and base your work on the individual's conditions, needs, and wishes. The work aims to strengthen independence, participation, security, and quality of life. The operation actively works for good activity balance where physical activity occurs, and it is therefore an asset if you have an interest in outdoor activities or experience with nature-based activities. The position includes tasks such as documentation and medication management. We work by following established implementation plans and job descriptions, and document according to applicable legislation and guidelines. We work according to pedagogical methods and shared approaches to achieve our common goals. The temporary position is full-time for 6 months with possibility of extension, to cover during a parental leave. The position includes day, evening, night, and weekend shifts and also includes resource shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Are trained as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or childcare worker • Experience supporting people with mental health disabilities, for example schizophrenia, psychosis issues, anxiety, or other psychiatric diagnoses • Experience working with people with autism and intellectual disabilities within LSS • Good knowledge of low-arousal approaches, clarity-based pedagogy, and individualized support • Experience working with people within LSS • Fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing • Hold a manual driver's license Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-01, end date: 2027-02-28. To be eligible for employment at Omsorg i Bjuv AB, Bjuv Municipality, a certificate from the police criminal record must be presented. The certificate is presented first upon offer of employment.
