Your New Job
You will work with approximately ten operations within Function Support, LSS Housing area. Your work consists of providing support and services to residents in daily living that meets individual needs and wishes. Tasks include care, medication management, lifting, household chores, social documentation, and activities. Challenging or acting-out behavior may also occur. Collaboration takes place with family/legal representatives, healthcare, employment services, and authorities. The work varies depending on the operation and may change over time.
With us, you have an important role in supporting operations as needed. The work requires flexibility and good communication and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors. You work under an annual working hours agreement with hourly bank balance within given frameworks that you independently monitor. You are responsible for your own bookings and scheduling based on linked operations, but you plan your work with your supervisor.
Your Expertise
You are a support assistant, which requires completed upper secondary education in children and leisure with a focus on social/pedagogical work or care and service with specialization within the disability/psychiatry program area, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
You have experience in care and service as the assignment requires you to be self-sufficient.
Meritorious: experience with low-arousal approach, TAKK/AKK/GAKK, sign language/different languages.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.
You have good physical mobility as the work can be physically demanding.
Class B driver's license is meritorious.

It is important that you can adapt to different situations and individuals' needs. You collaborate well with colleagues and other contact points, build good relationships, and have good conduct toward residents. Welcome to Us
Within the operations-proximate pool (VNP), you replace regular staff during planned absences within the LSS Housing area within Function Support - consisting of group homes, service apartments, children's homes, and short-term care facilities. The operations are located within Jönköping Municipality's geographical catchment area. We exist for people with various disabilities and here the collaboration between colleagues, operations, and unit managers is of great importance. Within the area, a review of how the operation is organized is currently underway, which may mean that the position's structure may change during the employment period.
Good to Know
The recruitment concerns a permanent position on a full-time basis where working hours are scheduled for day/evening, on-call night, or sleeping night, weekdays as well as weekends. The schedule is governed by the operations' schedule and all positions within VNP work according to the annual working hours agreement. A wage supplement is paid.
