Support Assistant at Tynäsvägens Short-Term Residence according to Section 9§6 LSS (Temporary Position)

The target group at the short-term residence varies, with the majority being children and young adults who have been granted a few days per month, though stays for older users may occur. The users' care needs vary, and young people are given the opportunity to practice for adult life during their stay at short-term care. Since this is a short-term residence, new users may be added or discharged over time. This requires a working approach with a high degree of attentiveness and the ability to adapt your approach to each user's individual needs. The work team consists of knowledgeable employees who work based on each user's needs, wishes, and interests. In the operational area, a support pedagogue and activity developer also work to support efforts regarding various quality issues to enable the operations to develop. We are now seeking a support assistant for Tynäsvägens short-term residence. The position is permanent and involves working evenings and weekends. 1 position(s). DUTIES Work as a support assistant is based on individual implementation plans with the goal of enabling the user to have a meaningful life and feel involved in their daily activities. The work includes mapping skills and support areas to find the right adaptations based on users' needs. It also involves working from a pedagogical approach and upholding the user's participation and integrity to maintain and develop their skills and interests. The goal of the intervention is to provide parents/relatives with relief in their care work or to provide users with an environmental change and recreation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Education as a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or other education the employer deems equivalent. • Experience with social documentation. • Good computer skills. • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is also an advantage if you, based on the operation's needs, have: • Several years of experience working with people with disabilities. • Several years of experience working with a pedagogically adapted approach. • B-class driver's license. • Experience working with children and young people with disabilities. • AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication). • Training in low-affective approach. • Training in Autism and NPF. • Knowledge and experience applying current legislation in the field.
