Do you want a job where your commitment makes a difference every day? We are now looking for a support assistant at Tussilagovägen 50, an individually adapted LSS residential home. Here you will have the opportunity to create safety, participation, and quality of life for the people living in the group home. At the same time, you become part of an engaged team that works together to create a safe, predictable, and meaningful daily life. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a support assistant, you are an important part of the residents' daily lives. Through professional conduct, a structured working method, and genuine commitment, you contribute to creating the conditions for an as independent and meaningful life as possible. You work at a group home caring for five people with extensive support needs, where your ability to create safety, structure, and predictability is crucial. Through respectful, individually adapted, and low-arousal conduct, you help prevent difficult situations and create a stable daily life. You work based on the residents' needs, wishes, and decisions according to LSS. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the support is of good quality and that each person has the opportunity for participation and independence. Your work tasks include, among other things: • provide individually adapted support in daily life based on the individual's needs, goals, and wishes • support the residents in daily activities both inside and outside the home • work according to implementation plans and ensure that support follows decisions made according to LSS • document in the management system Treserva and establish routines and action plans • carry out daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry together with the residents • use pedagogical working methods that strengthen communication, participation, and independence • cooperate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals to create a safe and secure environment You need to be able to stay calm even in challenging situations and have the ability to act professionally with both security and care. You work closely with your colleagues and are part of a team where you support each other, share experiences, and together develop the operation. Working hours are scheduled and include day, evening, and weekend shifts. Night shifts may occur. QUALIFICATIONS Education • Completed secondary education from the Children and Leisure Program with a focus on social work or education as a support assistant. Formal Competencies (Requirements) To be eligible for the position, you have: • completed secondary education from the Care and Nursing Program or Children and Leisure Program with a focus on social work, alternatively education as a support assistant • alternatively education in behavioral science or other education that the employer deems equivalent • alternatively several years of experience working with people who have extensive support needs or challenging behavior • experience working within LSS • experience working with people with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other neuropsychiatric disabilities • experience with medication delegation • B driver's license and good driving skills • good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing and document in management systems Merits It is advantageous if you have: • training and experience in low-arousal conduct • training and experience in clarifying pedagogy • courses or other training in the disability field • experience documenting in Treserva or another management system Personal Competencies To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be relationship-building, cooperation-oriented, solution-oriented, and flexible.
