WORK DUTIES The work involves providing individualized support to people with various forms of functional variations, enabling them to live as independently as possible and participate in daily decisions. Our goal is to help them achieve an active and meaningful life based on their own circumstances and needs. The residents are adults with cognitive disabilities and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. You will work in a varied environment with diverse tasks of a care, motivational, and educational nature. The role involves working across multiple residential care facilities and suits you if you thrive with varied work where you meet different work teams and individuals with different needs. Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, night shifts, and approximately every third weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant with proof of a protected professional title, or who hold other qualifications that the employer deems relevant for the position, such as a social pedagogue or treatment pedagogue. Since the work includes documentation, you need to have good computer skills. We also require that you master the Swedish language both verbally and in writing. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with users with substance abuse issues, self-harm behaviors, mental health problems, or functional disabilities. ABOUT THE WORKPLACE A residential care facility consists of individual apartments in a residential area where residents have access to a common room where they can socialize, talk, participate in activities, and share meals together. Residents receive help from staff based on individualized support, and staff is present around the clock. There are 3 residential care facilities located in the same area. Staff at the facilities support and help each other as needed. Residential care services are part of the Care and Social Services Administration.
