Pimpinellagatan is a group living facility with specialized services (BmSS) located in Angered. We have eight residents living in their own apartments in a two-story house. At Pimpinellagatan, support needs vary and may include ADHD, autism, and autism spectrum diagnoses combined with other difficulties such as severe self-injurious behavior and suicide risk, comorbid conditions, personality disorders, and learning difficulties. We work to support our residents in their daily lives based on their individual needs and wishes. The work may include: - Pedagogical and social support in daily activities - Personal care - Support with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning - Medication management according to delegation - Documentation - Collaboration with the individual's network You work both independently and together with colleagues to provide each resident with the best possible support based on individual implementation plans. The goal of our work is for each person to have a daily life with as high a degree of self-determination, participation, and quality of life as possible. We are looking for someone with a degree from the Care and Service Program, support assistant training, or Children and Recreation Program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The education requirement is also met if you have post-secondary specialization in the disability field encompassing at least 200 vocational school credits, 120 university credits, or a combination equaling at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, or social work. It is strongly desired that you have a 2-year vocational college education as a treatment assistant/social pedagogue or university education as a social worker. To take on this role, you also need at least 2 years of documented experience working with the target group of mental disabilities and learning difficulties, as well as experience working with mental health issues, severe self-injurious behavior, and suicide risk. Communication is an important part of the work, which means you must have good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1, Swedish as a second language, or equivalent, you may be offered to take a language test through the test provider Educateit. Good computer skills are a requirement. We work in Treserva, Time Care, and Personec, and we see it as positive if you have experience working in any of the above. We would like you to have knowledge of and experience with several of the following methods: LAB (Low Arousal Approach), AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), Visual Pedagogy, IBIC (Individual Needs at Center), ISL (An Independent Life), and MI (Motivational Interviewing). You are calm and confident in challenging and complex situations. You can quickly shift your perspective and approach and see possibilities in changes. You have a good understanding of individuals' different circumstances and adapt your communication to recipients to create participation and engagement. You are clear in your professional role and act professionally in situations where others question you or make unreasonable demands.
