The service housing offers safe and permanent housing, currently for approximately 20 people with supervision, support, and care needs. The residents' apartments are located in proximity to the common room and staff apartment. The service includes customized assistance and support in daily living, and our residents have access to the common room every evening of the week for social activities. The services shall be of high quality and meet the residents' psychological, physical, and social needs. Staffing at the service housing is based on residents' service needs and is staffed around the clock. The staff consists of employees with high competence and extensive work experience in the field. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a support assistant at Dahlborgsgatan service housing, you work providing support and care to people who have decisions for housing with special services according to the LSS Act. Here live people in the midst of their lives, each with their unique life situations. Therefore, the work is varied and stimulating with individually tailored interventions. The goal is for residents to be able to live as independent a life as possible and experience good quality of life. The duties of a support assistant are varied and may include supporting residents with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, personal care, social documentation, support in attending activities, supporting meaningful occupation, and assistance with contacts with authorities. We place particular emphasis on developing independence and self-reliance in our users, which requires sensitivity and flexibility. During daytime, a coordinator is available who handles administrative tasks such as scheduling and service planning. We actively work with the digital tool IntraPhone and other digital and educational aids. It is therefore important that you have good computer and mobile skills. Our operations run around the clock: daytime, evenings, weekends, and on-call. QUALIFICATIONS Care and welfare education, child and leisure education, or education deemed equivalent by the employer is advantageous. Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, within the autism spectrum, and experience working with mental health issues is advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You have a professional approach, are responsive and flexible, see possibilities, are responsible and engaged. You have the ability to build relationships with people in the user's network and work well with colleagues and your supervisor. You can work independently and together with colleagues; you plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate interventions. You work according to set goals, follow job descriptions, and use given methods, approaches, and tools. Upon employment, you must provide an extract from the police register.
