Your Assignment Rudsjövägens gruppbostad is a residential facility under the Act on Support and Service (LSS) located in a quiet residential area in Duvnäs, close to bus service to Slussen. The building is a detached house containing six apartments plus common areas with a large outdoor patio. The group housing is home to adults of varying ages with intellectual disabilities. Some residents also have physical disabilities. Rudsjövägens gruppbostad is part of a business unit together with another service residence, sharing an assistant operations manager. As a support assistant, you will work to provide support and service to residents based on their individual needs. This means you will help create conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions. In this role, the focus is always on the customers; we adapt accordingly to their needs and respect their wishes and preferences. Daily documentation is an important part of the work to ensure quality and safety in our operations. Work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. The position involves varying tasks including support and service with: Cleaning Personal care Hygiene tasks Medication management Is This You? We are looking for someone with experience in the disability field who has a good understanding of what our LSS assignment entails. You are accustomed to and capable of working independently with customers and are confident with that responsibility. You also have strong collaboration skills and are a team player. You naturally prioritize customer wellbeing and needs, maintain a calm and respectful approach toward everyone you meet, and think service in all situations. Our customers have extensive support needs in daily life, so you need to be experienced with care services. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Your Experience To be considered for this position, you must have: Completed education in care and health services/child and leisure with courses in disability/special education Experience with autism and cognitive disabilities among adults Experience with low-affective interactions Computer and documentation skills Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good physical capacity If you also have training and/or experience in IBIC, AAC, visual pedagogy, and self-injurious behaviors, this is strongly meriting.
