The position is placed within the Social Services Administration, one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Services Administration is responsible for exercising authority, commissioning services, and direct provision of services within the areas of individual and family care, LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), and social psychiatry. Your work tasks As a support assistant with us, you will have varied work tasks based on each individual's needs. This includes nursing work and personal hygiene, cleaning, laundry, cooking, and social activities. The work also includes certain delegated healthcare tasks from a nurse. With the individual's needs at the center (IBIC) as the foundation, you shape the support completely according to the user's circumstances and wishes. You work to ensure that each individual can develop and use their own abilities. You guide and provide support in daily life by offering security and continuity. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop in your role as you will be assigned a contact person responsibility, which means you plan support measures together with the individual. You are responsible for the implementation plan and document in the Treserva system. The role also includes close contact with family members and other cooperation partners. Rättaregatans Group Home is beautifully located in Lambohov with good transportation options to and from the facility. We have a pleasant courtyard that we use when the weather permits, and we enjoy taking walks in the surrounding area with our users. Here live six users with varying needs and a broad age range. During the day, the majority of users attend daily activities to varying degrees. Most of our users have some form of intellectual disability and/or autism. NPF diagnoses and physical disabilities also occur. The work team consists of 10 colleagues, including night staff and a support educator. The facility also has access to a nurse and physical and occupational therapists. The position is at 50% with working hours scheduled for day, evening, and every other weekend. For this position, a minimum service level of 50% applies, but due to the right to full-time employment as applied in Linköping Municipality, you have the opportunity to choose a higher service level up to full-time. The facility coordinates planning with other units, which means that service at multiple workplaces may become relevant at higher employment levels. About you We are looking for you who have completed a care and nursing program, a children's and leisure program, or other education deemed equivalent. You have experience working or interning within support, care, and nursing. It is meriting if you have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and challenging behavior. We further consider it meriting if you have experience with low-emotional approach, the IBIC method, and documenting in journal systems. We would like you to have knowledge in alternative and augmentative communication. The work involves many contacts and documentation, which means it is a requirement that you can communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish as well as document in digital systems. As a person, you are self-driven and can easily distinguish between the personal and the professional. You also work well with other people. You listen and communicate clearly and have the ability to adapt your communication style. You have the ability to understand someone else's situation without taking on their feelings. In addition, you are receptive to others' ideas, allow for failure, and give constructive feedback.
