The Care and Social Services Department with approximately 1,500 employees is one of the departments in Mölndal's city and encompasses elderly care, support services, and health and medical care. Mölndal's city is opening a new group home with a focus on autism. Guldvingegatan is located in Hulelyckan, a quiet residential area with proximity to forest and nature. The six residents will move in successively during fall/winter. We are now building an entirely new team and are looking for you who wants to be part of creating and building a new home, contribute to the development of the operations, and create the best possible everyday life for our residents. 15 position(s). WORK TASKS As a support assistant, you work with supporting the resident in their daily life by creating an understandable, manageable, and meaningful existence and by working preventively and in a structured manner. You provide professional support and strengthen each individual's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities - all work is based on the resident's individually created implementation plan. You are involved in establishing and/or maintaining social networks. Your role also involves supporting residents in developing their communication skills and sense of belonging, as well as providing support in social activities, both individually and in groups. The goal is to support full participation in society based on each person's individual wishes. You provide support in all daily tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, clothing care, laundry, cleaning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, social training, culture, and leisure. You are part of a work group with support assistants and a support pedagogue. You work with social documentation in the Treserva documentation system and continuously review and revise the implementation plans. We work with activity-adapted and flexible schedules. Needs are continuously adjusted based on operational requirements, which means you need to be prepared to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and possibly overnight on-call shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who • Has education as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. • Has experience with challenging behavior. • Has knowledge of low-arousal approach, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC. • Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. • Has a B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience working with Timecare and Treserva. As a support assistant, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude as you use the resident's needs as the basis for your actions. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help others and you strive to present solutions.
