As a support assistant with us, you will work to provide our residents with individually tailored support in their daily lives and encourage and support their participation in leisure activities. The work involves supporting the residents based on their needs and wishes, which forms the foundation for individually adapted support in the users' everyday lives. Your work contributes to enabling our users to live as independently as possible. Care work is included in your duties, as well as quality assurance in the form of social documentation, implementation plans, and routines.
You will collaborate with the users, their relatives/guardians, and staff in other operations. Our keywords in the work are motivational work, structure, network building, documentation, meaningful everyday life, and cooperation.
This position suits you if you can work day shifts, evenings, and every other weekend.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has support assistant training, a professional qualification from a healthcare and social care program or children's and leisure program, or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. You also need to have the following:
- experience working with people who have intellectual, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities
- experience working in a structured manner according to clear routines and implementation plans
- experience with documentation in accordance with applicable legislation
- good computer skills and experience with digital tools in healthcare and social care
The following are considered merits:
- experience working according to the IBIC method (Individual's Needs in Focus)
- experience with low-affective communication
- experience with clarifying pedagogy
- experience with AAC
- driver's license

Kvarnfallsvägens group home in Sävedalen is one of Partille municipality's LSS residential homes. The homes are adapted for people covered by the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities. Here, 6 people live in their own apartments. At Kvarnfallsvägens group home, we work with situation- and activity-adapted work methods. With continuous review of staffing, we create room for both spontaneity and enrichment in life. You will be part of a work team consisting of 8 support assistants and a support pedagogue. Our work team also receives training/supervision from the municipality's four method developers as needed to ensure work methods and enhance competence in the team.
