The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services to Certain People with Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to combine pedagogy and care to support people toward a more independent life? Now we're looking for you who wants to contribute with both structure, commitment and knowledge while making a real difference. As a support assistant, you work both closely with the individual and with the facility's quality development. You work closely with the young people and help create security, structure and predictability. A calm and stable approach is crucial, as is the ability to listen and adapt to each young person's individual needs. As a support assistant, you work to provide pedagogical, social and practical support to people with disabilities in their everyday lives. The goal is to strengthen the young people's independence, quality of life and participation in society based on their needs. The work is scheduled during daytime, evenings and weekends, depending on the facility's needs. The role includes, among other things: - Support the individual in daily life according to the implementation plan - Motivate and create structure around activities, health and social interaction - Collaborate with family members, colleagues, school and other actors - Document services in digital systems according to applicable procedures - Work based on a low-affect approach with the individual's needs in focus - Personal care QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and develop relationships. You are secure, attentive and have the ability to adapt your approach based on different individuals' needs and circumstances. You are a secure and responsible person who wants to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for others. You have a low-affect approach.
