Our operations are growing and we are now looking for a support assistant who wants to make a difference for our children and youth within LSS in Lomma Municipality! At our short-term service, which is called Skolskeppet, children and young people come to us for short-term supervision and short-term stays. The operation currently consists of a dedicated team of support assistants and a coordinating support pedagogue, with a strong user focus and great job satisfaction! The goal of the operation is to provide children and young people with meaningful leisure time, an opportunity for environmental change/recreation/relief, and the chance to meet other children and young people. It is important that we can provide the children and young people with a creative, safe, and welcoming environment that they want to come to either after school or in the evenings and on weekends and holidays. 1 position(s). DUTIES You work pedagogically and creatively based on established methods to individually adapt support to the user. You work to promote increased safety, independence, integrity, and co-determination/participation. Together we place the individual's needs at the center. The work includes social documentation and collaboration with both internal and external parties. You have a genuine interest and commitment to working with children and youth in the support services field. You are confident and responsible in your professional role and provide the children/young people with a safe and predictable environment. You work actively and independently within the scope of your assignment and with a clear individual focus. You have good collaboration skills and are responsive in meeting everyone you encounter in your role. For you, change is something enjoyable and challenging, and you always see solutions to challenges. Care work is included in the job duties. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. QUALIFICATIONS You have appropriate upper secondary education for the work, or alternatively a KY/YH education within LSS/care services. You have documented experience working with people in this target group. We work with people who need an individually designed environment. It is therefore of great importance that you have experience with low-arousal interaction and clear teaching methods. It is a merit if you have previously worked with children and young people. A Class B driver's license is required. We require an extract from the criminal record register for employment. Employment form: Permanent employment. We report salary for the 10th and 90th percentile: 30,000-34,000 kr/month. The salary range is stated in accordance with applicable regulations on salary transparency.
