New facilities. New energy. New colleagues. And the chance to actually make an impact. Kastanjetten has reopened after extensive renovations. Now we're building on the operations and shaping the team that will take Kastanjetten forward. You won't be arriving when everything is already finished. You get to help create it. Here, a completely ordinary workday can become quite unusual Kastanjetten is a short-term residence for children and young adults up to 21 years old with, among other things, autism and intellectual disabilities. Here, laughter, activities, and outings blend with everyday routines, care, and situations that require both patience and creativity. Sometimes it's full speed. Sometimes you're the one who needs to slow things down. And quite often, the day doesn't go quite as you expected when you arrived at work. That's kind of the point. You're close to the children and young adults and provide support based on their specific needs. This can involve communication, activities and structure, but also personal care, meals, medication, tube feeding, and support with epilepsy. Some need a lot of help. Others manage a lot on their own. No two are alike. You have relevant education in, for example, care and support, pedagogy, or disability services, or alternatively other education that we consider equivalent. Previous experience with LSS, autism, intellectual disabilities, AAC, visual supports, or challenging behavior is a plus. You need to have good Swedish in speech and writing and be able to document your work. This is not an 8–5 job The children and young adults come to us when they're off from school. That's why we work when they need us. This means varying working hours with day, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.
