Support Assistant at group home according to LSS in Huddinge Municipality
About the position
Budkavlevägens group home is located in Segeltorp with a short distance to Kungens Kurva. Six people with varying disabilities live in the group home.
We offer our service users individually adapted support in all daily activities, which may include support with personal care, household chores, and support in social interaction. Work with service users is guided by individual implementation plans with accompanying method sheets. We cooperate closely with the network based on the service users' wishes and goals.
We work with great respect for the service user's integrity and see the service user as an active participant in designing the support. The work is planned, documented, and carefully followed up. As a support assistant, it is therefore very important that you document very well.
We are seeking a support assistant at 100% starting October 1st, with the temporary assignment until August 31st, 2027. The work consists of varying working hours such as day, evening, and on-call shifts. The schedule also includes work every other weekend.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with relevant education, such as nursing assistant education, GPU/PPU, childcare and recreation, or equivalent education. Experience working with people who have functional variations and experience working with clarifying pedagogy and digitalization is a plus. You should be computer-literate as we document in the Life Care documentation system. You must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
As a support assistant, you will be part of a context where high demands are placed on cooperation and responsibility. You should create and maintain good relationships with service users, relatives, guardians, daily activities, the HSL unit, and other actors.
We pay great attention to personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident in yourself and comfortable working with people who have a great need for continuity and structure. You need to be flexible, very empathetic, and able to read our service users' needs. We also value that you as an applicant are a good colleague with a positive attitude.
