JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now strengthening our operations and are seeking a support assistant for a group living facility according to LSS. We welcome your application! The group living facility is home to six adults, each in their own apartment. As a support assistant, you provide support to residents in all aspects of life. You work based on each person's individual needs and actively work to enable the person to use their abilities as independently as possible. You support and assist with daily tasks, personal care, leisure activities, and social contacts. Together with your colleagues, you create a calm and stress-free environment, with clear routines and predictability for all residents. Each person has an individual implementation plan that guides the support provided. Through participation and care, we want to create opportunities for change and quality of life. The work places great demands on your ability to collaborate, take initiative, and follow established routines. Your responsibilities include being attentive, having great patience, and using your pedagogical skills to support and guide users according to their individual needs. As a support assistant, you are expected to collaborate with users, colleagues, family members, guardians/administrators, and external contacts to work with the user in focus. Together with colleagues and a support educator, you will also be responsible for planning and developing the activities. You will have scheduled working hours during the day, evenings, and every other weekend. The position is filled subject to required decisions being made. The position is time-limited with the possibility of extension. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with education from a care and welfare program or children's and leisure program, or other education deemed equivalent. You have experience working in care, support, and welfare and feel confident performing care tasks. It is meritorious if you have experience working in LSS operations, dementia care, low-affective approaches, and clarifying pedagogy, as well as knowledge of AAC. As a person, we are looking for someone who is secure, stable, calm, and empathetic. We want you to be proactive, flexible, solution-focused, and able to work both independently and in a group. Furthermore, we see that you are relationship-building and service-oriented, which forms the foundation for good collaboration. You adapt easily to changing circumstances, work in a structured and problem-solving manner. You need to be stress-resilient and able to handle challenging expressions as these may occur. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Valid B driver's license. Extract from the police criminal record is required. Delegated HSL services may occur. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Time-limited employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-10-01 Or by agreement., end date: 2027-01-31. Working hours: Schedule.
