Description Would you like to be part of our team/cluster with a primary placement in employment-based day activities? The assignment involves supervising and supporting users at various employment-based activities. As staff, you will be part of a dedicated team. You work to implement decisions within LSS and provide users with support in all daily situations and activities. You start from the individual's needs, wishes and desires, and make use of the resources and abilities that each individual has. Work Tasks As a support assistant, it is important to be able to motivate individuals to carry out activities, which becomes an important part of your daily work. It is self-evident to help in a motivating and educational manner. Low-intensity interaction is a central concept in your assignment. You are committed to working in a structured way with clear pedagogy and social documentation. Part of the position is linked to group housing. This includes work tasks in the individual's daily life such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping, leisure activities, walks and more. It is important that cooperation takes place in a professional manner with different professional categories and the network around the individual. Qualifications Completed upper secondary education from a Children & Leisure Program, Care and Health Program, with a focus on functional disabilities or a support assistant education. Valid B-class driver's license. As the position is directed towards employment-based day activities, it is advantageous if you have experience in this area. You must have knowledge and experience working with people with functional disabilities in day activities or residential care. You need to have good knowledge of intellectual disabilities as well as understanding of mental health issues, neuropsychiatric conditions and comorbidity. Educations such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), An Independent Life (ESL), AAC, low-intensity interaction and programs such as Inprint are advantageous. The work requires that you have a good demeanor, good cooperation skills, are open to change, have a reflective approach and work towards agreed goals. As a person, you should have the ability to remain calm and attentive in stressful situations, be organized, clear and pedagogical. You should be confident in setting boundaries and can create a balance between support and demands. The work requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Data skills are important and a driver's license is a requirement. The work requires good physical fitness. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. How does our recruitment process work?
