Support Assistant for Daily Activities, Temporary Position

The Support Assistant Role In your role as a support assistant with us, you'll be part of an exciting journey in one of our daily activity programs where you work to support and motivate participants toward meaningful employment. We always work based on each individual's specific needs. At Hamntorget, participants work on tasks that prepare them for working life. Work tasks are adapted based on interests and wishes, and they receive guidance on what they would like to work with in the future and what is required to reach their goals, such as education and internships. The group primarily works with tasks such as sorting and packaging assignments from various companies they collaborate with. You will work according to three methods designed to promote participants' development in their employment: low-affect interaction, clear pedagogy, and alternative augmentative communication. The work is based on the LSS law regarding special support and services. Your Profile As a person, you are accommodating in your approach and attentive to your surroundings. You build new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results and prioritizing your work efficiently. You see opportunities in change, take initiative, and bring new approaches to work-related matters. You have a strong interest in communication and clear pedagogy. You are structured, solution-focused, and capable of managing multiple activities simultaneously. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We're Looking for You If You: have an education in care and support or children and leisure at the upper secondary level minimum, or alternative education deemed equivalent by the employer have at least one year of experience working with this target group It Is Advantageous If You Have: work experience within Daily Activities About Us At the Department for Individual & Family Care, we provide social support to children, young people, and adults as well as to persons with disabilities. We investigate, treat, and implement support services and work with preventive activities. For persons with disabilities, we offer personal assistance, housing, and daily activities. The help we offer is based on current research and proven experience and is tailored to the individual's needs and the wishes of their relatives.
