Daily activities and employment is a unit within our functional support operational area, and we are now looking for you to join us in developing the work in the unit together with us. The unit has sixteen employees and is responsible for seven different focus areas and groups. One of our groups focuses on Employment under the Social Services Act (SoL), and the other six work groups operate with Daily Activities under the Disability Services Act (LSS). The focus areas in the different activities vary from small group settings to individual placements, and the users' support needs are often complex. Within our units, we work to utilize users' own resources and promote participation in society by being habilitative, pedagogical, and low-key in our approach. We work with a person-centered approach and have extensive collaboration with others in our users' networks. Based on user needs, we work in a structured manner to develop activities and make adjustments according to each individual's circumstances. We collaborate between the three units for daily activities and help each other as needed, which means you have the benefit of working in a varied role. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES You will work in our employment activities. We work partly with group activities and partly with individual company placements. Our focus is to contribute to a meaningful everyday life and participation in society through group activities and individual support, and we work to increase independence by creating customized implementation plans. Some activities take place through group activities and others in more individual settings. We are a work team of three staff who together are responsible for approximately 50 users. As a support assistant, you play an important role in supporting our participants in their work and activities to promote their well-being and independence. The duties of a support assistant include, among other things: • planning and organizing work tasks and activities based on individual needs and abilities. • providing clear instructions and support to ensure that work tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner. • adapting work tasks and activities to promote participants' individual development and interests. • promoting a positive and inclusive work environment by encouraging cooperation and social interaction with people we meet in everyday life (colleagues within the organization, customers, and other participants). • feeling confident in creating networks and maintaining contacts with collaboration partners, contributing to joint meetings and collaborations. • employer contacts and support in practice on the regular labor market in connection with individual placements. • documenting participants' progress and achievements and maintaining correct reporting and documentation. • collaborating with parties in users' networks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • relevant education for the role, such as nursing assistant or childcare worker with a focus on psychiatry/special education. • experience working with people with mental health issues and/or psychiatric diagnoses. • experience working with people under the Disability Services Act with, for example, autism, NPF diagnoses, or intellectual disabilities. • experience working supportively with people in employment or daily activity programs. • good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. • good experience working with IT/digital tools as support in work, as we use computer-based support systems for documentation, collaboration, and planning. • a Class B driver's license. We consider it meritorious if you have: • training in motivational and empowering conversation and work methods, such as MI or equivalent methodological knowledge to motivate and support people toward regular employment. • training in workplace support for people in vulnerable situations, such as supported employment/supported training, IPS. • other education, evidence-based practice, or methods that the employer deems relevant. • experience working with people with substance abuse issues. • experience working with employer contacts based on labor market initiatives or daily activities and employment. You enjoy working with people and have a pedagogical approach and attitude to work. You focus on the individual and are accustomed to shifting your own perspectives to work with the participant toward established goals. You need to be able to support the participant when needed, but also be able to set demands and challenge when appropriate. You guide, inspire, and motivate. You are unpretentious and take on challenges yourself. You appreciate working together in a small team but can also work individually and enjoy working alone. Much of your work involves having a sensitive touch, and you must be able to work flexibly, both physically and mentally. Your positive, responsible, and solution-oriented approach makes you a valued collaboration partner both internally and externally, for example, in relation to employer contacts and other parties.
