DUTIES
We are now seeking a support assistant for daily activities at Lunden.
Here you'll have the opportunity to work together with your colleagues to influence and shape safe and meaningful employment for people with disabilities.
In your role as a support assistant, you work closely with people who have various disabilities. You support them in everyday life and help them develop skills.

Your duties include providing individual support to clients in daily activities by working in a clarifying manner, providing clients with predictability, and creating structure in their employment. Stimulate participation in leisure and cultural activities and community involvement according to individually set goals, so they can be as independent as possible.
Examples of work tasks include assisting with cleaning, cooking, personal hygiene, and medication management. Your role also includes planning, developing implementation plans, documenting, conducting regular evaluations, and contributing to maintaining good quality in the activities. The role also includes collaborating with parents, relatives, guardians/administrators, and other stakeholders both internally and externally.
Participants in Lunden's daily activities have significant needs for sensory stimulation, and the work also includes some care tasks. You plan your work together with the person you support and understand how important it is that each individual is involved and has influence over their daily activities. We work with the individual's needs at the center.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a committed employee who has experience with low-arousal approaches, has great patience, and can work both independently and in groups.
You must have a complete secondary school education, preferably in the Health and Care Program with specialization in disabilities, or the Child and Leisure Program with vocational training in support and services within the disability sector (social work). You need experience working in day activities, group housing under the LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) Act, personal assistance, or service housing.
It is a requirement that you can work methodically according to established procedures and that you have professional conduct and can work with low-arousal approaches and identification of challenging behavior. You are well versed in using alternative communication methods, such as visual supports and social stories, and have a strong interest in learning new things.
We expect good teamwork skills where you can easily collaborate with colleagues and other professionals around the client, and find it inspiring to work with people with disabilities.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A driver's license (Category B) is a requirement for the position.
You can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
You have basic computer skills and documentation experience.
A certificate from the crime register (for LSS activities) is required for the position.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date November 26, 2024 or by agreement.
Work hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday
