The Care and Social Services Department with approximately 1500 employees is one of the departments in Mölndal Municipality and includes elderly care, support services and health care. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At Park and Environment daily activities, approximately 20 participants work on service assignments within gardening, nature conservation and wood handling. The work is largely outdoors year-round and we divide into smaller groups that go out on assignments or work in the local area, which may mean you work both in groups and alone. We work on assignments from other departments and companies and our assignments change over time. No two days are the same and you therefore need to be flexible and have the ability to replan and prioritize based on changed circumstances. You support and guide participants in their work and create conditions for meaningful activity. As a support assistant, you will among other things be a contact person for participants, establish implementation plans, maintain contact with participants' networks and document in journals. The position is 85-100% full-time. QUALIFICATIONS • Completed education as a support assistant or other education that the employer considers equivalent. • Knowledge and work experience of working with people with mental health issues, challenging behavior and autism. • Knowledge and experience of low-affective approach, clarifying pedagogy and social documentation. • Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. • Class B driver's license and you are comfortable driving a minibus. We are looking for a dedicated support assistant who puts the service user in focus. Someone who is good at working in a team and who can turn words into action. In your work as a support assistant, you easily adapt yourself and your approach based on changed circumstances and new information. You can quickly change your perspective and attitude and see opportunities in changes. In your work, you gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation and engagement. Beyond this, you seek out and seize opportunities to think differently in work-related contexts and this can be implemented in practice and lead to improvements. You stay updated through environmental monitoring and you regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your activities. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date according to agreement. Within the Care and Social Services Department, active work is underway to be able to offer employees their desired employment level in order to reduce involuntary part-time positions.
