We welcome your application today. The position is placed within the Pool, which means you work across both Activity and Experience and Nature and Service within daily activities. You replace regular staff who are absent for the day due to illness or parental leave. Therefore, each day will be different as you are placed each day where staffing need is greatest. Within the Pool, you are expected to make the day together with your colleagues and the participant(s) you are responsible for on that particular day. You will receive information in the morning from the substitute coordinator about which activity needs you, and you go there. As an employee within the Pool, you are based at one facility and you have a UL card to transport yourself to the current activity for the day. You follow and implement the activity's/participant's daily schedule. You are always appreciated when you arrive because you will always make things easier for the activity and colleagues you join. This, along with seeing the full range of activities and participants' needs within a large part of daily activities, gives you increased understanding and more knowledge that helps you grow both professionally and as a person. Your Assignment Your work includes providing individual support and services in accordance with the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) to the activity's participants based on support decisions. You will work with people who have physical and/or mental disabilities. You are expected to work for good quality and goal fulfillment according to the assignment, implementation plan, and governing documents. This includes working with low-arousal communication, structure, security, and participation, and working toward ensuring that participants can live as independent, active, and meaningful lives as possible based on the individual's conditions, wishes, and needs. Other tasks included in the role: • conduct activities with participants both in groups and individually • provide support and assistance with meals and restroom visits when needed • collaborate with other staff • drive cars and minibuses with participants when needed • perform documentation according to legal requirements in Lifecare. Your Background We are looking for someone who has nursing assistant training or education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with people who have disabilities and experience working within LSS. The work requires that you have knowledge of low-arousal communication and social documentation. To manage the job, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing and a Swedish B driver's license. If you have pedagogical training, nursing training, training as a support educator, or training as a social pedagogue, this is considered meritorious. We would like to see that you have experience working within daily activities. It is also meritorious if you have knowledge of various communication aids such as AAC, visual supports, sign support, sign language. As a person, you are flexible and see possibilities in change. You have the ability to see the whole picture and view issues in a broader perspective. Furthermore, you are good at creating, maintaining, and developing work relationships. We also see that you have good collaborative skills and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. Additionally, you are calm and composed in various situations and have the ability to focus on the right things.
