WORK DUTIES Do you want to make a difference in everyday life? We are now seeking a support assistant for day services. Day services are an intervention according to LSS for people with functional variations. Our goal is for each participant to receive meaningful, stimulating, and developmental activities based on their own interests, circumstances, and wishes. An important part of our mission is also to strengthen participants' opportunities to approach working life, in the short or long term. You will become part of an engaged staff group with several support assistants and a support educator, working together towards two day service facilities. As a support assistant, you are an important person in the participants' everyday life. You motivate, support, and guide participants towards activities that feel meaningful, stimulating, and developmental. Together with the participants, you develop clear and measurable goals based on their individual needs and wishes. You will, among other things: • plan and carry out activities based on participants' interests and circumstances • motivate and support participants in their development • establish and follow up implementation plans and action plans • contribute to quality assurance and development of the activities • work closely with colleagues and the support educator • collaborate with participants, relatives, guardians/administrators, and external contacts. We are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and patient, with a genuine interest in working with people. You have pedagogical skills and can adapt your support to each participant's unique needs. You enjoy collaborating and contributing to a good work environment, while being confident in taking your own initiative and working independently. You find it easy to follow routines while also seeing opportunities for development and improvement. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications Education at upper secondary level: healthcare and social care program or children and leisure program with a focus on social work. It is meriting if you have experience working in day services, low-affective interaction, clarifying pedagogy, and knowledge of AAC. As a person, we are looking for someone who is confident, stable, calm, and empathetic. We want you to be proactive, flexible, solution-focused, and able to work both independently and in groups. Furthermore, we see that you are relationship-building and service-oriented, which forms the foundation for good collaboration. You easily adapt to changed circumstances, work in a structured and problem-solving manner with your creativity as a tool. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Delegated healthcare services may occur. Valid B driver's license (manual). Extract from the criminal record register will be required. Salary form: Monthly salary.
