We are looking for a support assistant for a permanent position on awake night shift. Job Duties With us you are offered a developmental and varied work together with thirteen tenants and colleagues. We actively work with a method-oriented approach where Low Arousal Behavior Management (LaB), ESL and MI are important foundations. You are offered a well-structured and thoughtful way of working with focus on professionalism and interaction. You are part of a work group consisting of support assistants and a support pedagogue. We work from the premise that our tenants should be involved and have the opportunity to influence the services according to their abilities. Our tenants should be given the opportunity to develop toward as independent a life as possible, where good social care is the starting point. This may mean that you may be exposed to secondhand smoke and pets. Situations involving threats and violence may occur. Working hours are scheduled for nighttime. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a degree from the Care and Social Services Program, support assistant education, or Children and Leisure Program with a focus on social or educational work. The education requirement is also met if you have post-secondary specialization within the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination thereof equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer considers equivalent. For this position, you need to have at least one year of experience working with people with mental health disabilities. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test administrator Educateit.
