The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are governed primarily by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by putting the individual at the center to meet their needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and service spirit. LSS and Social Psychiatry Provider with over 350 permanent employees is a service provider aimed at children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL and have responsibility for implementing services regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by placing the individual at the center and collaborating to meet individual needs. The operation has a strong customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for boundary-crossing work that is both inspiring and skill-developing. Delfinen is an activity for children and youth with neuropsychiatric and/or intellectual disabilities. The children/youth are at Delfinen for supervision (leisure) and/or stay according to LSS and SoL. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES At Delfinen, we address each child's/youth's needs and strive to offer a safe and predictable time with us. The work is based on LSS values, which means the child's/youth's needs, participation, and self-determination are highly valued. We typically work one-on-one, and as staff you participate in all activities around the child/youth and in the care the child/youth needs help with. The work can sometimes be physically demanding. The job also includes contact with parents and collaboration partners, continuous documentation, and establishing and following up on the individual implementation plan. The position involves work according to schedule, Monday-Sunday with irregular working hours that include service every other weekend. The position may involve service at other operations within the LSS and Social Psychiatry Provider. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with education in the children's and leisure program, care and nursing program, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when needed. You have the ability to distinguish between the matter and the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations. You find it easy to put yourself in others' situations. You listen, understand, and show consideration. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You find it easy to adapt, develop, and learn new things after changed requirements, conditions, or circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach. You need to have knowledge of neuropsychiatric and/or intellectual disabilities, and it is a requirement that you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. It is a merit if you have experience of similar work and/or education in clarifying pedagogy, low-affective interaction, and picture and sign support. A driver's license for a manual car is a requirement, and you need to feel comfortable driving a car. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date after agreement. Working hours: Work according to schedule, Monday-Sunday with irregular working hours that include service every other weekend.
