As a support assistant, you help participants develop, create radio programs, and participate in an operation characterized by community, commitment, and optimism. Here, you make a real difference every day. About the Role At Radio Fyris Daily Activities, a dedicated team of reporters works to write scripts, conduct research, and produce radio programs. As a support assistant, you support participants in their radio and podcast production work based on individual needs and abilities. You motivate participation, provide educational support, create structure in daily life, and contribute with care services when needed. In this role, you also collaborate with colleagues to develop the operation and participants' opportunities for growth. Qualifications You have a high school diploma and experience with audio technology, for example from work with radio, podcasts, or other audio production. It is an advantage if you have experience working with people with disabilities, for example in daily activities, school, or care settings. We also view experience with Adobe Audition and Audacity positively. Personal Qualities You are confident and have good self-awareness. You can build professional relationships and adapt your approach based on situation, individual, and operational needs. You have the ability to understand other people's perspectives and situations without absorbing their emotions. You are attentive and respectful in your interactions and understand that people process information in different ways. Therefore, you adapt your communication and support based on the individual's circumstances. Furthermore, you are organized and work in a planned and methodical way. You can prioritize between different tasks, create clarity in daily life, and meet set deadlines. About the Workplace Radio Fyris is an opinion-forming web radio station and daily activities program where participants' stories, experiences, and perspectives are in focus. We aim to be a platform for people's voices, and each week we produce programs on topics including sports, news, gaming, and entertainment. Participants are offered individual coaching in their radio work. Together with supervisors, development goals are set, and through regular listening meetings, feedback is provided on produced programs. Our facilities at Knivstagatan 10 B in Uppsala are spacious, bright, and well-suited for our operations. Here we have studios for radio and TV recording as well as common spaces where we have lunch and coffee together. We work primarily Monday-Friday from 07:45-16:15, with the possibility of some adjustment of working hours.
