Support Assistants – hourly temporary staff for LSS residential facilities (disability group 2)
Are you an engaged person who wants to make a difference in other people's everyday lives?
Then you might be interested in working at Individkraft?
About the role
About the work – help us build something new together
Individkraft is opening a new group residential facility according to LSS for disability group 2 this autumn. We are now looking for engaged and confident staff members who want to be part of it from the start and contribute to shaping an operation where quality, respect, and human connections are at the center.
The work involves providing support and care to adults with acquired brain injuries in adulthood who need care, structure, continuity, and long-term, relationship-based support. The focus is on creating security in daily life and conditions for increased independence, participation, and quality of life.
The role includes, among other things:
Supporting and assisting the residents practically in daily routines, structure, and planning
Building relationships and creating a sense of security in daily work
Providing motivating and practical support based on individual needs
Collaborating with family members, healthcare, and other community stakeholders
Documenting according to applicable legislation and the organization's routines
Working from a low-arousal and solution-focused approach
Since the operation is new, there is a unique opportunity to influence work methods, routines, and culture, and to help build a stable and sustainable operation from the ground up.
About you
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant or have other education in healthcare and care that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with people with dementia and elderly care is highly valued. We appreciate if you have pedagogical education or education in communication, such as TAKK.
As a support assistant, you provide close and personalized support to people with acquired brain injuries. The tasks include, among other things, personal hygiene, meal assistance, and feeding. It is therefore important that you can perform these care tasks with sensitivity, professionalism, and great respect for the individual's integrity, self-determination, and individual circumstances.
An important part of the work is documenting according to applicable legislation and the organization's routines. You therefore need to master Swedish well, both spoken and written.
We are looking for you who are confident in working independently and at the same time see the value of close collaboration with colleagues. As a temporary hourly employee, you need to be flexible and quickly adapt to different work situations, work groups, and residents' individual needs. As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and solution-focused. You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner, have a good ability to prioritize, and thrive in an operation where no two days are the same.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a genuine interest in people and the ability to create safe and respectful relationships. You are responsive, empathetic, and meet each individual based on their circumstances. When the situation requires it, you work with a low-arousal approach.
Great focus is placed on personal suitability.
