JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support assistant at Omnia daily activities, you work to create meaningful activities based on LSS - the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities. The daily activities should be adapted to the customer's individual needs and offer stimulation, development, meaning, and community. The content of the activities should be based on care decisions and implementation plans. Work is documented according to applicable legislation in the Lifecare documentation system.
Daily activities include certain care services, meaning support and help with the daily needs that the customer finds difficult to manage independently. This could include, for example, hygiene, eating, dressing, moving, and communicating. The work is based on a salutogenic approach and respectful treatment.
In your role as a support assistant, you need to be curious, solution-focused, and have the ability to adapt your approach and manner of interaction based on each customer's needs and condition. In your work you have support from a support educator, coordinator, and unit manager.
There is driving involved using the organization's vehicles and you may need to move between workplaces during working hours, so a driver's license for manual transmission and access to your own car is a requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS
We would like you to have competence in AAC - Alternative and Augmentative Communication and low-arousal approaches, as well as experience working with challenging behaviors.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Start date by agreement.
