We are now recruiting a support assistant for our wonderful team at our Daily Activities Work-Oriented Program! As a support assistant in our daily activities program, you will work directly with participants, guiding and supporting them throughout the workday. The work involves using the program's approach and methods as well as documenting according to applicable social documentation procedures. Your role includes supporting participants in daily work and working toward both short-term and long-term goals based on the needs of the participants and work group. You will participate in internal methodology meetings and help ensure that joint agreements and working methods are followed. AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and low-affect interaction are important tools used in daily work. You will be a key person in leading Partille's daily activities program on its digital journey. You are responsible for ensuring that "digital first" thinking permeates the program, and together with the program's digital representative, you are responsible for ensuring that existing and new systems become natural tools during the workday. In the work with participants, you will primarily lead the Media Group and its associated newspaper editorial team, film group, and our upcoming podcast, but other tasks within the program's various units may also occur. We offer you meaningful work where you make it possible for our participants to be creative and develop at their own pace. We work from each individual's implementation plan, a plan for the approved service where the individual controls the content. Participation, security, and independence for the individual should be in focus, and you drive work forward using proven methods, but you are not afraid to try and develop both your own and others' creative solutions. Working hours are scheduled during daytime on weekdays. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a support assistant or has other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have knowledge and experience working with AAC, augmentative and alternative communication, including sign language support and low-affect interaction. You must be well familiar with documentation requirements in our field. We prefer that you have good computer skills, strong knowledge of the Office package, Treserva or other journal systems. If you have education or previous experience in practical digitalization development and/or work in media, film/audio technology, and/or VR related to our target group, this is an asset. A driver's license is required. We are looking for someone who is solution-focused and can comfortably adapt to changing circumstances with a focus on the individual's well-being. You understand people's different ways of learning and can adapt how you communicate depending on the recipient's needs. You can work with both short and long-term development plans. You are confident in your professional role, have a high degree of personal maturity, and take initiative that creates collegial commitment. Of course, you are responsive to our participants, their needs, and wishes. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We conduct continuous selection, so don't delay submitting your application. Good to Know To be called for an interview, you must be able to provide proof of a passing grade in Swedish 1 at high school level or equivalent. If this is lacking, you will be required to complete a digital language test. The recruiting manager will return to duty from August 3rd. Your New Workplace Daily activities addresses adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury in adulthood who lack employment and are not pursuing education. To take advantage of each person's interests and resources, we offer a wide range of activities at different locations in the municipality. With us, you will be part of a positive, competent work team where everyone does their best to shape the participant's workday for the better with the individual implementation plan in focus. In Partille Municipality, the equal value of all people is at the center.
