The service is located in a quiet area in Bomus in a well-considered location. Within a few hundred meters, there is access to most services such as health center, pharmacy, dentist, store, kiosk, package pickup, restaurant, etc. The service is primarily staffed by employees with long experience, extensive knowledge, and high job satisfaction. Norra Järvstävägen is a well-functioning service with good structure and routines. We actively work with nutrition and health issues for our residents and provide regular supervision and training. In recent years, all individuals surveyed have reported that they are 100% satisfied.
Everyone living with us is offered individualized support, services, and quality care to live as independently as possible. The service serves 6 individuals in LSS category 1 and provides housing with special services according to section 9, paragraph 9 of the LSS Act.
About the Role of Support Assistant
As a support assistant, you will work providing individualized support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support individuals in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their individual action plan as your starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, based on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for individuals to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the service's resources and budget. The service's well-developed methods place high demands on you as an employee to follow routines, your ability to work digitally, and your ability to express yourself clearly in writing. You can independently manage your own areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
You are high-performing in everything you do, relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in an attentive way, and you enjoy cooperating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see individuals' needs.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience working in healthcare and care services.
Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field.
Driver's license.
Applications that do not meet the required profile will be rejected.
Meriting qualifications include:
Experience in psychiatry, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and low-arousal approaches.
Have worked with complex support needs.
Terms of Employment
Employment type: Permanent with probation period. Employment percentage: approximately 80%. Work schedule: Day, evening, weekends with on-call overnight duty. Start date: By agreement; we welcome it if you can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements through Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
