Istidsgatan 27 is a service residence within LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Here, 14 residents with intellectual and physical disabilities of varying ages live in their own apartments and share common spaces.

Your responsibilities
You will guide and provide support and care to people with intellectual and physical disabilities in their daily lives. You will work long-term and goal-oriented to create a secure home environment and a meaningful everyday life and leisure time for our residents. You will offer individual, social, and practical support to enable and utilize the person's own abilities, thereby creating conditions for independence.
Common work tasks include assisting residents with approved services such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene/care, medication management, and social activities.
The work also includes documentation, record-keeping in Treserva, and working goal-oriented with individual implementation plans to increase goal fulfillment.
The workplace may involve smoking, heavy lifting, and threat and violence situations.
To create security and stability for those living with us and to make threat and violence situations manageable, it is important to follow routines and to cooperate within the work team.
Working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekends and on-call combinations. Joint planning occurs between our activities within Disability Care.
About you
As a person, you are calm and confident and have an easy time following routines. You have good collaboration skills and a professional manner toward residents, family members, and other stakeholders. You are engaged and willing to share our values and work toward established goals and continuous improvements. You naturally create and maintain structure and contribute to the development of the operation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
In order for you to communicate with residents, family members, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
Requirements:
A healthcare and nursing program, children and leisure program, social work program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
Experience working in healthcare and care
Meritorious:
Experience working within disability care
