DUTIES Duties included in the position of support assistant in the Daily Activities Program: - support individuals in contact with their network to promote their participation and independence, - apply regulations and values in an ethically responsible manner in work with individuals, - promote cooperation between the Daily Activities Program and the Employment Unit - independently acquire additional knowledge and skills for continuous learning and professional development and reflection within the work area - be active in participants' activities. - promote participants' development and creativity - be active in work with implementation plans and take responsibility for documentation. - work for the individual's right to self-determination - work goal-oriented in accordance with established plans to ensure quality, - contribute to developing the activities based on quality and evidence-based knowledge in the field - work tasks may be assigned to the Employment Unit - UPHOLD THE VALUES THAT HERRLJUNGA MUNICIPALITY HAS ADOPTED As a support assistant, you will be part of the work team with colleagues at the workplace, and part of your time will be spent working "close to participants" with relevant tasks within the Daily Activities Program/Employment Unit. Part of the position will involve work as a support assistant with responsibility for implementing measures, follow-up, and quality for individuals. The Daily Activities Program and Employment Unit have working hours Monday-Friday. The position will primarily be based at the Daily Activities Program but may also occur at the Employment Unit. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications we would like you to possess: Knowledge of: - intellectual, cognitive, and mental disabilities and their consequences for individuals in daily life, - communication methods within the disability field, - individualized support that contributes to improved quality of life for individuals, - ethics and professional conduct in work within the disability field, - regulations governing the disability field, - social documentation and - the importance of health for individuals' quality of life. We welcome a driver's license; this is meritorious. Relevant education and experience in the LSS field and labor market issues are meritorious, and great weight is placed on personal suitability. We expect that you have education in the field and relevant experience. It is meritorious if you have experience working with individuals who have disabilities. Employment type: Permanent position.
