We are now hiring two colleagues for Solhem group home and one additional colleague for Ekbacksgatan group home.
Your responsibilities
The work involves providing support to people with varying functional differences. The position involves working in a work team. We support individuals in their homes with everything related to their personal needs.
We work with motivational activities to strengthen and maintain the individual's abilities in daily life. The work is characterized by a social perspective where the individual's needs are at the center. In our work, we support individuals so they can achieve a good quality of life based on their individual needs. Your support makes a difference and is valuable!
Working hours vary between day, evening, and every other weekend at Solhem, as well as day, evening, on-call nights, and every other weekend at Ekbacksgatan. We give you the opportunity to choose the level of employment you wish to work. However, this may mean you work at multiple workplaces. We can offer a varied profession where no two days are alike. What remains constant is the energy and joy our residents give us daily in our work.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education to work with people with functional differences, for example recreation leader, treatment pedagogue, social program with a focus on behavior, nursing assistant, or education in social work. The position also requires previous experience with similar work.
To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to be able to work independently and be flexible in your approach. You must have good self-awareness and be confident in yourself. We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills and empathetic abilities. We want you to have a genuine interest in people and the ability to see solutions and opportunities.
The position requires basic IT knowledge and the ability to work with the systems we use for documentation, among other things. Since we work with social documentation, it is important that you can express yourself both in writing and verbally in Swedish.
