JOB DUTIES As a support assistant at Omnia Daily Activities, you work to create meaningful activities based on LSS - the Law on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities. Daily activities should be adapted to the customer's individual needs and offer stimulation, development, meaning, and community. The content of activities should be based on support decisions and implementation plans. Daily activities include certain care assistance, meaning support and help with daily needs that the customer has difficulty managing on their own. This could include, for example, hygiene care, eating, dressing, moving, and communicating. The work is based on a salutogenic approach and respectful treatment. In your role as a support assistant, you need to be curious, solution-focused, and have the ability to adapt your approach and treatment based on each customer's needs and condition. In your work, you will have support from a support pedagogue, coordinator, and unit manager as supporting functions. Driving with the organization's vehicles occurs, and you may need to move between workplaces during work hours, so a driver's license for manual transmission and access to your own car are requirements. QUALIFICATIONS We would like you to have competence in AAC - Alternative and Augmentative Communication and low-affect interaction, as well as experience working with challenging behaviors.
