Sterile Technician/Nursing Assistant in Sterile Technique, Operating Room Karlskoga Hospital

We offer stimulating and qualified work. Job Responsibilities As an employee in the sterile technical unit, you work with sterile goods handling of medical technical products. The work involves preparing operating equipment for surgeries in the form of cleaning, instrument care, functional inspections, packaging, sterilization of equipment, and monitoring disinfection and sterilization processes. We work with the traceability system T-DOC. We serve the operating department, the hospital's departments and clinics, as well as health centers in the western part of the region with sterile instruments. Qualifications Sterile technician education. We also welcome you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your healthcare education and evidence from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title must be attached to your application. About the Operation The Orthopedics and Hand Surgery operational area conducts university healthcare and clinical research at the county's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. The operational area provides care within the entire orthopedic field including highly specialized care.
