Job Description In your role as an experienced statistician, you will play an important role in our work developing, quality-assuring, and conducting statistical analyses to support decision-makers and the development of our healthcare. You will work in close collaboration with other statisticians, business analysts, business representatives, and clients within the organization. Examples of tasks: • Plan and conduct statistical analyses to support decision-making. • Data management, produce descriptive statistics and visualizations. • Quality-assure data and analysis processes. • Provide support in survey methodology. • Provide methodological support in statistics and analysis. • Participate in development projects and cross-functional collaborations. Work Group The Data and Analytics Unit has approximately 40 employees with a main focus on driving and supporting the region's work on information management, production development, monitoring, statistics, and analysis. You will primarily work in a team with three other statisticians but also with others within the unit who work with making data accessible, visualizing, and analyzing it. You work across different parts of the organization's operations and in many cases in close collaboration with clients and business representatives. About You We are looking for you who have university-level education in statistics. It is advantageous if you also have education or experience in public health and/or healthcare. You have several years of experience with qualified work as a statistician, preferably in the public sector. You have good knowledge of statistical analysis methods, in SPSS or equivalent statistical software, and advantageously knowledge in R and Power BI. Experience working with register data, survey studies, and/or large datasets. To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important.
