About the position
In the role as project manager, you will be responsible for leading facility projects for stations within the transmission network. The projects have budgets within a large range that can vary between approximately 10 MSEK-600 MSEK. You represent Svenska kraftnät as the client, which means you are responsible for the project's time, cost, and results.
In the role as project manager in the Early Phase, you will project lead pre-studies for station projects. You will lead and conduct pre-studies of various sizes with the help of your team of approximately 10-15 people with specialist expertise. Together you will deliver results that form the basis for investment decisions and ordering of subsequent project implementation. Together with your team, you are responsible for:
Station design and placement of stations
Risk analysis for project implementation, work environment, and environmental impact
Basis for investment decisions as well as schedule and budget for the implementation phase
Conduct and drive dialogue with stakeholders and establishment of agreements
Lead meetings with internal and external parties
In the position as project manager, you have a work environment and electrical safety delegation.

You will be part of the Station Projects department and be placed in one of the units within the department. The department's mission is to drive facility projects from pre-study to completed facility. We place high focus on work being conducted with high personal safety, quality, efficiency, and low environmental impact. Today, approximately 80 project managers work in the department, and here there are good opportunities to influence and make a difference, both in the projects and in ongoing operations.

To thrive in the role as project manager, you need to place emphasis on achieving results and feel confident in yourself and your competence. We want you to have the ability to handle stressful situations in a constructive manner and can support your project groups through a coaching approach. Furthermore, you have great focus on creating and maintaining good collaboration with both internal and external colleagues.
We are looking for you who have:
A degree in Civil or Technical Engineering or equivalent experience acquired in other ways
At least 3 years of documented experience working with pre-studies/analysis/planning/design/investigation of electrical networks or other experience we deem equivalent
Construction Work Environment Coordinator (BAS-P)
Experience leading a project team
Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
Class B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience with station designs on regional and/or transmission networks.
Electrical power background
Good to know
The position is located in Sundbyberg or Västerås.
