As a stationary security guard with our client, you will primarily work in reception where you welcome visitors, handle access cards, register visits, and provide service to customers, employees, and contractors. You are also responsible for maintaining security at the facility through surveillance, patrols, alarm handling, and other security-related tasks, as well as providing professional service to customers and employees. About the Position Our client places great trust in us, and your work as a security guard is important. With each shift, you contribute to creating safety and security for our client and society at large, as your work provides preventive protection against crime, improved fire safety, and much more. Working Hours: Daytime Work Location: Uppsala Duration: Full-time Start Date: By agreement (We apply a 6-month probationary period) Salary: According to collective agreement Qualifications You will meet all members of society, and it is important that you are clear, calm, and able to make well-considered decisions. You need to be responsible, solution-oriented, and thorough, and you should be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with others. Requirements: In addition to the personal qualities we are looking for, you must meet the following basic requirements to be qualified for the position: - You are a trained security guard (VU1 and VU2 or equivalent) - You have reached 18 years of age before starting the assignment - Upper secondary school competence - Good Swedish in speech and writing - Good computer skills - Driver's license category B Merits - Experience in reception work or customer service - Experience with access control systems and alarm handling - Good knowledge of English You must also be of good character*, drug-free, have orderly finances, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. Your personal maturity is an important part of our overall assessment of your suitability for the position. If you lack the required training (VU1 and VU2), training may be offered following an individual assessment based on previous experience and suitability. Security guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted by BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this training is a prerequisite for employment.
