Housekeeping Manager at Stöten/Idre

Do you want to lead our housekeeping team at Stöten & Idre? Do you want a key role where you get to build a team, lead staff, and develop our housekeeping operations in two of Sweden's most beautiful mountain destinations? Mountain Lodge Stöten is now seeking an engaged and driven housekeeping manager on a full-time basis with overall responsibility for our housekeeping operations at our hotels in Stöten and Idre. This is a role for someone who thrives with leadership, staff responsibility, recruitment, structure, and a fast pace, and who wants to help develop the business long-term. Mountain Lodge in Stöten is a seasonal hotel with primary operations during winter. Our operations in Idre have a longer season and run more year-round. As housekeeping manager, you will therefore have overall responsibility for both operations with a focus on building strong teams, ensuring quality, and creating efficient routines that work both during high season and quieter periods. About the role Your main tasks include: · Having overall responsibility for housekeeping operations in Stöten and Idre · Recruiting, staffing, and building housekeeping teams before and during season · Introducing, training, leading, and developing employees · Planning and distributing daily work · Being responsible for scheduling and staff planning · Ensuring high and consistent quality at our hotels and accommodations · Developing routines, working methods, and structure within housekeeping · Following up on staff, quality, and efficiency · Working closely with other departments and management · Being a present and clear leader who creates joy and engagement at work · Ensuring we always have the right staffing based on occupancy and operational needs Who are you? We are looking for someone with previous experience as a housekeeping manager. We would like you to be self-driven, organized, and solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility. You are a natural leader who can combine clarity with good interpersonal skills. You find it easy to build trust and are comfortable both leading others and rolling up your sleeves when needed. You are an engaged team player who enjoys collaborating with people from different backgrounds. Since our team consists of employees from several different parts of the world, good English language skills are important. We would like you to have: · Experience in supervisory roles and staff responsibility · Experience from hotels, housekeeping, or similar operations · Experience with recruitment and staffing · Good organizational ability · A strong quality and service mindset · Ability to work independently and make decisions · Team spirit · Class B driver's license A full-time job in the mountains This is a full-time position with a varied and important role in our organization.
