Army Headquarters develops and manages the production of combat units and subordinate organizational units within the Army, consisting of units and schools. Information about the position Army Headquarters is a separate organizational unit within the Swedish Armed Forces where the Technical and Maintenance Office Mark (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Procurement Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for materiel maintenance, materiel utilization and materiel maintenance economics within the Swedish Armed Forces, and for ensuring that materiel is maintained in accordance with system objectives. As a staff officer, you work together with units, schools, workshops and TVK Mark to support, coordinate and develop the technical service with particular focus on materiel maintenance production. The role involves informing, supporting and directing operations based on the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel process, with the goal of ensuring high materiel availability. You work closely with operations and actively contribute to developing materiel planning, materiel maintenance and related processes. In the role, you are expected to build and develop a broad network of contacts, both within and outside your own organization, to create good cooperation and effective working methods. You have great freedom to plan and shape your work based on an overall situation picture and work to strengthen the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel availability. Job Responsibilities As a staff officer, you have a central role in following up, analyzing and developing materiel maintenance production. The work takes place in close cooperation with several actors within the Swedish Armed Forces and involves both operational support and development work to ensure efficient processes and high materiel availability. Main job responsibilities: - Follow up, analyze and direct materiel maintenance production and materiel maintenance flows and identify and propose improvement measures - Cooperate with LogE and the Ground Workshop Unit at regional and central level to maintain and develop materiel maintenance production - Participate in central working groups - Cooperate with other TVK and TVA within the Swedish Armed Forces - Support development and implementation of routines and processes Qualifications - Professional officer with technical (or alternatively logistical) profile - Technical education and experience with ground materiel within the Swedish Armed Forces - Education and experience in the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel maintenance process - Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP) - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, spoken and written It is meritorious if you have... - Experience from a position within the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel maintenance organization - Experience from central/regional headquarters, preferably within logistics and technical service - Knowledge of how the Swedish Armed Forces is governed regarding logistics and in particular technical service from HKV down to OrgE - Experience and knowledge of technical service within the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel accounting system Personal Qualities To thrive and succeed in the role, you have good collaborative ability and feel comfortable working with many contact points.
