The Land Combat School (MSS) works together with other parts of the Armed Forces to create the conditions for land warfare units to carry out their assigned tasks effectively, both nationally and internationally. MSS also performs tasks for the entire Swedish Armed Forces, such as development and procurement of soldier-carried equipment, firearms, and support weapons. Within this framework, the Land Combat School trains the Armed Forces' future leaders using advanced training facilities and with comprehensive knowledge. Within this framework, the Training Unit at MSS trains the Army's leaders and units with the support of advanced training facilities and with comprehensive knowledge. As a staff assistant at the Training Unit, you will work primarily at the command training facility (LTA battalion), or alternatively with exercise planners or unit leadership. Main Responsibilities: Your position involves various administrative tasks aimed at preparing and executing training exercises. You will also handle incoming and outgoing information in various command support systems. You may also participate in various roles as a staff assistant or instructor for staff assistants. You will also support the unit in solving administrative tasks. The position involves periodic absences for exercises and business travel within Sweden as well as abroad. In this position, there is an opportunity to develop toward a specialization as a battle management assistant, combat assistant, or intelligence assistant. Qualifications: Valid high school diploma Completed military basic training Driver's license, class B manual transmission Meritorious: Previous employment with the Armed Forces or basic training as a staff assistant Completed staff assistant training Experience with Armed Forces command support systems such as SLB, SHQ Good ability to handle Microsoft Office applications (Office 2010 and later) Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Military driver's license Training in PRIO Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, who is responsible and structured.
